Whiteboard surfaces are made of durable porcelain or vinyl but over time they become scratched and discolored. Do this for any and all scratches on your vinyl. Allow the vinyl upholstery to dry before continuing. If you can t get ahold of whiteboard cleaner just use a damp cloth.

Don t substitute in other cleaners as many of them will simply strip off more of the essential coating that allows you to erase the markers. A small amount of solution should be ample in most cases. Locate the scratches of your record and angle 1 wooden toothpick at the scratch. Use a white board marker over the scratched area.

Instead of replacing the whiteboard you can resurface it for much cheaper. Sterilize the vinyl upholstery by wiping with the alcohol pad included in the repair kit. Step 4 open the vinyl repair compound and spread it over the scratches with it overlapping 1 2 inch. Video of the day.

Rub a toothpick back and forth over the scratches with soft pressure. Allow at least an hour and a half for the coating to dry completely. Let the board dry for at least one hour. Rub the solution with a paint pad evenly over the scratch or the entire board depending on the damage.

Apply a little pressure and rub back and forth on the scratch. White board coating can be purchased online but it can also be found at hobby and home improvement stores. Wait about 72 hours before marking on the board and using it as you normally would.
