As the glass heats up the vinyl record will very quickly flatten.
To safely use a kitchen oven with the vinyl flat you will need to watch your digital thermometer and manually turn the oven on and off during the heating cycle to create an average temperature inside the oven.
Put your vinyl glass sandwich in the oven for 30 minutes.
Get two large panes of glass that will fit in your oven.
The vinyl flat plates to protect and cushion the record during flattening.
Turn the heat off.
Kitchen oven to heat to a vinyl safe average temperature of 130 f 54 c.
Preheat the oven to its lowest temperature setting.
First place the record between 2 sheets of glass and heat it in the oven at 175 degrees fahrenheit for 3 minutes.
The best way to fix a warped record is to take 2 pieces of thick glass turn on your oven to 150 degrees fahrenheit place one piece of glass into the oven then your vinyl record onto it and then the second piece of glass on top of the record.
Your kitchen oven can be used to heat the vinyl flat provided you follow our instructions.
If you re in a rush you can quickly fix a warped vinyl record using an oven.
Then take the glass and record out of the oven and place a heavy object on top of the glass until everything is fully cooled.
As soon as this happens turn the oven off and let it sit.
Place the record between the two panes of glass making sure the record is clean first.
